Hello! I’m Brooke! I’m an avid animal lover who wants nothing but the best for my pets. It all started with a cuddly present on my first birthday – a kitten from my parents. From there, my animal family grew to dogs, more cats, gerbils, hamsters, guinea pigs, a bird, more dogs, more cats, a ferret and even chickens. That wasn’t enough, though. I was a pet sitter for my neighbor's dogs, and by age fourteen, I worked at a local dog boarding/grooming facility. I took pride in caring for clients and their animals. And I can assure you, those animals were spoiled. I also worked with animals for several years through a local humane society. My duties involved caring for animals by administering medications, assisted in evaluating animal behavior, being mindful of disease transmission and simply taking dogs for a walk. It also included working with humane society clients and the general public. I have a Fear Free Shelter certification and a Pet First Aid certification, and I’m a member of Pet Sitters International. Beyond my pet expertise, I have a degree in business management with an emphasis in entrepreneurship. I’m using that knowledge to make Dually and Friends the kind of personalized pet sitting service that makes you forget all about impersonal boarding facilities. I know I feel better when my animals are comfortable at home with someone I trust. I look forward to earning that trust with you.
