Pet care experience
I am a dog mom to an 80 pound poodle mix. I've grown up with and been around dogs of varying breeds, cats, birds, and various small rodents (i.e. guinea pigs, hamsters, bunnies etc.) all my life. I love the outdoors, I love snuggling if your pets want to snuggle, I love walking the neighborhood if your pet needs some exercise, and I am willing and able to take direction and instruction.

Brooke took fantastic care of Baxter. She was so considerate and took special care when she realized he had an ear infection. She was great about providing updates and sending pictures. We know he was loved in her care!

What a great pet sitter for Gracie!! Brooke was very sensitive to our dog's separation anxiety and tended to her every need. Gracie was a snuggle bunny and Brooke paid attention to that. Brooke took her for a few walks to two nearby dog parks. One of them allowed Gracie to run and play, and the other was woodsy and full of squirrels to chase!! Gracie had a wonderful time with Brooke and her dog Tony. The video and pictures Brooke sent showed what fun our dog was having and were greatly appreciated. I hope Brooke will be available the next time we need her!!! Definitely a 5-star Rover!!

I live in an apartment complex with plenty of trees and grass for sniffing. There is a fenced in dog park adjacent to my apartment that my dog loves! I have a large crate if needed. No babies or small children to worry about, but two very helpful older boys and a friendly aussiedoodle to play with.

If your pets have any peculiarities, any medical conditions, any particular "triggers", or anything they specifically love or hate. I recognize that each and every pet is different and I try not to rush or force the way our interactions unfold at first. If they want to be loved on, I'll love on them, but if they want space and they're feeling a little skeptical, I will respect those boundaries.
A typical day
I love to take dogs on walks, play fetch with them, and give them lots of snuggles and pets. My goal is to make them as comfortable as possible and to feel loved and secure when I'm with them.

I currently homeschool my two boys, aged 10 and 12. My schedule is pretty flexible, as I'm home with my kids and dog all day.
