Pet care experience
I am a big animal person and love caring for them! I have had lots of experience with dogs and cats through having family pets growing up, caring for friends pets, and through Rover as well! I have my own mini Australian shepherd named Haven. She loves having friends over to hangout and play with! I understand the importance of regular exercise for animals and making sure they feel safe and cared for in their environment. I enjoy going on long walks and having a furry friend(s) along is always nice. I love keeping them engaged and working on tricks. I have potty trained my own dog in the past and have helped friends/family with potty training their dogs. I have also helped dogs work on biting and getting better on walks. I am currently working on all of these things as well with my new pup!

Brooke was great! Kept me updated my whole trip with pictures and videos. Lots of walks and play time. Bella loved it! If I ever need a dog sitter again. She will be the first time call.
Brooke took great care of Astro. Regular walks, dog park, and some quality time with her dog Haven. He was sad to leave!

I am very respectful of both animals and people. I am also patient and understanding. If you have rules and expectations for your pet I intend to maintain those while they are under my care. I have a lot of outdoor space and walking trails available for exercise. My apartment complex is very dog friendly and dog waste bag stations are available throughout. There is very low traffic (vehicle and people) around my apartment to help minimize your pets anxiety. With my puppy, when I am not home I will keep her crated until she is fully trained and/or can be trusted with other dogs. I am comfortable with crating your doggo or letting them roam if they are accustomed to that! I crate my own puppy when I am not home :)

A typical day
I love to stimulate dogs mentally/physically. With lots of walking trails and parks available, your pet and I can go on fun adventures! I love going for walks and I love to have a walking buddy. I live close to a dog park and would love to take your pet if you are comfortable with that. I can also keep them engaged with toys and work on fun tricks!

Availability
I currently work Monday-Thursday and a half day on Fridays. My job is only 5 minutes away from my apartment so I come home during the noon hour for my breaks. I am a homebody so my weekends are typically available.
