I have always loved animals of all kinds! I have had many in my own family and have cared for fury, scaly, feathery and slimy friends of all kinds in many situations. I understand that this site is geared toward cats and dogs, but I am open to caring for all sorts of pets, and even plants!

Pets are welcome inside our 2 bed/2 bath home. Doors would be kept closed while pets are indoors and dogs would be walked on leash. Off leash activities in safe spaces would be considered on a case by case basis after trust is built. Our home has many houseplants. If your pet is prone to eating plants, please bring it to my attention so that I can take the necessary precautions. The only pet living in our home at this time is Irwin, our bearded dragon. She would be kept out of reach of any visiting pets.

I love to know what makes your pets happy and the silly things they do! Of course it is also essential to know about any health or safety concerns so that I can care for your loved one in the best way possible for them.
A typical day
Dogs and cats who love attention will have a blast at our place! Our 12 year old absolutely loves playing and relaxing with animals of all kinds. My job allows for frequent walk breaks and while I'm working on my computer I love to have a fury friend to keep me company. If your dog likes to meet other friendly dogs, they will love our neighborhood. If they need their space from others, we can provide that too as our area has lots of alternate routes.

Availability
I live near the beach in a very dog friendly neighborhood and I work mostly from home. My partner also works from home part of the time and we homeschool our kids who are soon to be 17 and 13, so we always have someone available to give attention and cuddles to your fur babies. We especially love having visiting pets who enjoy sitting next to us while we work or study. We live in a second floor duplex with no yard, but we have plenty of indoor space (with a very long hallway suitable for fetch) and the best waterfront walking opportunities around (with all the fun new scents from all the dogs that live and visit here for walks). Since much of my work is on the computer, I love to get out for walks on my breaks and would love to have a doggo to come with me! Every once in a while I work from a local park and would be happy to bring your doggo with me.
