Hi there! Thanks for stopping by. A Texas native, I moved to Pasadena to finish a graduate program in Marriage and Family Therapy, graduated in June 2023, and recently made my way to OC to continue my journey towards getting licensed as a therapist. Meanwhile, I've loved getting to care for countless furry friends the last couple years and am ready to meet some new ones in this next chapter. :) My love for dogs was sparked from a young age when we brought our first dog (a dalmatian) into the home. And then we started fostering puppies of all kinds, and that love just escalated. As a kid, I was constantly reading the encyclopedia and various dog training books to learn about my dog friends. I still thoroughly enjoy being around dogs, and you'll find me soaking in some free pet therapy at the surrounding dog parks/beaches. I pride myself in having what someone once described as "Positive Dog Energy"--it seems that dogs are drawn to me. I know you care about your dog because you're here, and I also know it can be hard entrusting your canine (and/or feline) family members to someone new. But I promise I will treat your pup like he/she's my own. Whether you've got the energetic one, the skittish one, the non-leash-trained one, the advanced-in-years one, etc....I'll patiently care for him/her. I look forward to meeting you and your dog. *Note: I do not have experience injecting medications or providing care for special needs dogs, but I am open to learning how.

Brooke is awesome. She is very trustworthy, attentive, responsible, and loving toward animals. She sent pics to us while we traveled and kept in touch. I so appreciate having Brooke take care of our furry kids while we were away. She gave me peace of mind with our 3 dogs and is definitely someone you want to hire!
Brooke was the absolute best!!!! She took such good care of our dogs for the day while we were away! We have a young puppy (who can be a handful) and an old girl, and Brooke did such a good job with them and went above and beyond! She sent us so many updates of the dogs and I felt so reassured leaving them with her! I would absolutely recommend Brooke to anyone!
Our animals absolutely adore Brooke and she was there when one of our older dogs was having a rough time. She did an amazing job.
We ALL loved our time with Brooke! The “kids” were super happy and well taken care of for a week. We don’t know if they even missed us! Thank you Brooke!!!

Please let me know if your dog has any behavior quirks, health issues, or anything else requiring special attention or skills. I have not worked with dogs who have chronic health conditions, other than seeing my own dogs through their old age. Even so, I am a fast learner and willing to take on any type of treatment needed for your beloved pooch (or cat).
A typical day
I typically stay in nearby neighborhoods for walks, but can also go to a dog-park if you'd like. With an energy-packed dog, our walk might have some spurts of running (while being cognizant of the heat and hydration level). I love playing tug of war or whatever version of "fetch" your dog may know. And of course, if there are treats available, what better way to bond with a dog?

Availability
I see clients 3 days of the week--mostly in person, but I have a good amount of flexibility in my schedule to do check-ins/walks. For housesitting requests, I work best with animals that can be left alone for about 4-5 hours at a time. I also take day-sitting requests where I spend longer stints of time at home with your animal (5-8ish hours) and have an hourly fee for that. Please ask me about it. Unfortunately, my current apartment does not allow pets, so I will not be able to board.
