Pet care experience
I am a huge animal lover with a cat and dog of my own, and planning to go to school to be a vet tech within the next couple of years! I often pet sit for my friends and co-workers, and have often been referred by them to other pet care jobs. I can't wait to meet your fur baby and give them all the love and attention they deserve! I really enjoy being outdoors and going for hikes, so whatever type of exercise your pet needs, whether a few minutes running around the backyard and playing fetch or a longer hike for those pups who are full of energy, I'm down to hang out with them and love on them!

Brooke is a good communicator and we always feel good knowing that she’ll take care of our (tends to be anxious) cattle dog Fischer. She always makes sure to get outside/play time in and we come home to a happy boy!
We were so grateful for Brooke’s photos, good communication, and thoughtful care for our pup Fischer while we were away this weekend! We were so relieved to know that he was in good care the last few days and came home to a calm, happy boy. Thank you Brooke!

I am comfortable caring for dogs that have special needs, medications, etc, and I am very intuitive to know what kind of interaction dogs need. If your dog needs lots of socialization and play time, or if they just prefer cuddles on the couch, I am down to do either! I really appreciate honest communication about how your dog reacts to other dogs or people in public, as well as how they interact with other pets in your home - it’s all about keeping everyone safe!
A typical day
I love playing with dogs who are high energy, whether that’s running around in the backyard, playing fetch, going for long walks, or playing tug o war. I also am getting into more brain stimulating activities with dogs like treat puzzles and activities that require them to think!

Availability
I work full-time 4 days a week, but have pretty open availability on weekends and evenings. If I am staying at your house, I will spend most of my free time with your pets to make sure they are loved and cared for!
