Pet care experience
I've always had a place in my heart for dogs! Ive owned breeds ranging from Dachshunds to Chihuahuas to now a Lab, Pyrenees/Border Collie mix and a Mastiff/Bassett Hound mix (3s the magic number :P). Volunteering at an animal shelter for several years, I gained a wealth of knowledge on dog behavior, and by fostering puppies/dogs for several rescues, caring for dogs has become a huge part of my life. By choosing me to watch your pup, you will have peace of mind knowing he/she is cared for like they’re my own.

It was so nice to leave for a week and know that Brooke was with our furbabies. Brooke came to the house early to meet with us and visit with our dogs to ensure that it would be a good fit. She sent pics and updates regularly to ease the anxiety of missing our pups. She treats the critters like they are her own family (even the one that wanted nothing to do with her). I would totally book Brooke again knowing that my babies were in good hands. Thanks for taking care of my babies, Brooke!
I’ve booked twice with Brooke and she was fantastic with my dog Jessie. I felt completely at ease being away knowing my puppy was well loved and taken care of by Brooke!
Brooke watched my dog Kayah for 3 days (including staying with her overnight in my apartment) so I could celebrate my friend's wedding out of town. This was the first time I was using the Rover app and needed someone that I could trust. Brooke was amazing, from sending updates with photos and videos, to really loving on Kayah every day. It looked like Kayah had the best time of her life when I was gone. Thank you again Brooke for being so wonderful with Kayah, playing ball at the park and giving her all the cuddles and belly scratches she would ask for! I will definitely have you stay with Kayah in the future.

I would like to know the dog's daily routine. I believe a dog, especially puppies, know their routine and like to stick to it. My dogs know as soon as the alarm goes off in the morning, it's time to go outside then proceed to sit right next to their food waiting for their commands to eat. I would also like to know if the dog has had a history of aggression, eating times (if I'd be feeding), things the dog may or may not do (get on couch, go outside, etc), any health issues or medications the dog needs, if the dog has ever tried to escape, etc. If they will be at my home, I'd like to know if they get along with other dogs, if they are neutered, if they dig/chew, certain toys they may not have, food amount/time to eat, etc.
A typical day
If the dog is being walked at my home, I will take them around my safe and friendly neighborhood. If I am walking at a client's home, I will scope out the location as I arrive to the property. If there is a sidewalk or safe neighborhood to walk in, we will take that route. If there is no safe route to take (due to traffic or other unsafe conditions), and the dog loves the car, I wouldn't mind taking the dog to the nearest park for it's walk.

I’m available Monday-Saturday after 3 and all day Sunday. I’m in Texas for work, while my husband still resides in GA. When I punch out, I have nothing to do but love on your fur baby.
