Pet care experience
I have lots of experience checking in on, walking, and taking care of all sorts of pets. I am not allowed to have a permanent pet of my own in my current house, and I need some animal love in my life again. I have experience with puppies and senior animals. I have had a dog with diabetes that led to permanent blindness and I learned how to care for her from shots to pills and through walking guidance. I also have a geriatric cat that has an intricate feeding routine. I am extremely comfortable with large breeds and have been trained in proper walking and control techniques.

We felt very comfortable leaving our dog with Brooke. She was super easy to communicate with and took a couple photos. She took Storm on a nice walk during his stay. Would definitely recommend!

Brooke is the best dog sitter and walker! She loves my pups Libby and Marty like her own and is very responsive! They are always so happy and tired after a day or weekend with her and I never have to worry about leaving my dogs when they’re with her.

I can care for your pets in your own home exactly the way you would. I work well with very specific instructions and do not mind popping in and out of other peoples' homes. I do not have pets of my own in my house, so interactions with other animals will not be an issue.

I would like to know if your dog has any types of aggression. Whether it is towards other dogs, people, or with food, I can handle it if I know about it! I have had experience with an aggressive dog that towards the end of her life was blind and needed daily insulin shots, and I was able to handle it because I knew what was coming. Not an issue if your pup can be kooky, but let me know!
A typical day
I live right in the heart of downtown Charleston, which means the exploration options are endless! I love to take dogs on strolls around colonial lake or down by the battery. I also live right near a dog park if your pup is comfortable with off leash action! We can play with toys in my house and I give a mean behind the ears scratch. I also LOVE big dogs and am not scared to leash walk them or have all the crazy play time.

My career is freelance, so that means that I work for myself on my own schedule. I am free to move things around in my day at my own discretion, and have plenty of hours to offer to your pets.
