Pet care experience
I am currently a pre-vet student. I am very passionate about the proper care and treatment of animals. I am looking for a side job to bring in money while I'm in school, but I wanted to do something I'm passionate about. I have been working as a cake decorator for the past few years, but I wanted to be able to do something more full filling for myself. I have also been certified as a veterinary assistant since September of 2016. I have grown up around dogs my entire life, so I understand the care and outside play time they need. I have experience with surgery, dental work, and administering medication IV and subcutaneously. I also have experience with differentiating animal body language and behavior. I also have experience with cats.

My experience with Brooke watching my sweet girl was absolutely perfect. I had never been out of town without my pup before, and before meeting Brooke, I was very nervous (and my dog was too)! But the nerves were quickly gone once we met Brooke and I had nothing but confidence and peace of mind during my week away. She updated me well with details and photos, and I was truly confident that my pup was getting lots of love, exercise, and care. I didn't expect to be so comfortable, but Brooke really knows what she's doing!!! She's responsible, kind, intelligent, and resourceful. I will always reach out to her in the future if I need a sitter, and you won't be sorry if you reach out to her too :) You're the best, Brooke!!
Brooke is wonderful with both of my rescue dogs! I like that she also has some Veterinary training. She is punctual along with her warm, friendly manner that allowed both of my dogs to become quickly comfortable with her. My dogs were used to walking on the trails in Palmer Park and she was willing to take them there for their walks after I broke my ankle and wasn’t able to. I will be using her as my dog walker until I am able resume walking them myself. I would not hesitate to recommend her to take care of or walk your fur-babies.
