💲 My prices include up to FOUR (4) animals per visit. Any additional animals beyond the first four are $5 per animal, per visit. Please contact me for pricing for groups of animals such as chickens, fish, etc! 🐕 I am an independently insured, CPR certified, experienced, reliable, and trustworthy pet sitter who loves all animals. I've cared for dogs, cats, horses, chickens, rats, ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, snakes, birds, lizards, fish, turtles, and more...I adore them all and always treat every animal as if they were my own. I'm comfortable with all kinds of messes and animal antics, from mud to barking to poop. I'm happy to bring in your mail, water your plants, and tidy up a bit in a non-intrusive, respectful way, while ensuring that your pets are always my number one priority. 🌄 I have been taking care of my own family pets and the pets of my friends and neighbors since I was a young kid. I currently work part-time as a caretaker for nine horses and provide administrative support to professionals in the cat and dog behavior industry. I live on 12 acres in Old Fort with my Black Lab, Great Pyrenees, and four cats (plus various foster animals at any given time!). 🤝 I always require a free meet and greet before booking any services to ensure that you, I, and your pets are all a good fit. 💅 While I do not offer full grooming or nail trims, if your pet gets especially muddy or dirty in my care, I'll do my best to hose or towel them off at no extra charge.

Brooke is caring and thoughtful about both the physical and mental health of any animal in her care and goes to great lengths to keep them happy with play, cuddles, and adventures inside or outside. She is mindful of their body language to make sure she understands exactly what they need so she can provide the best care possible. I would trust Brooke with my pets anytime I need to leave them!
Brooke is wonderful! She really works to understand the animals in her care, and is gentle and loving with them. Her handling of both cats and dogs is superb, and she's one of the few people I trust comfortably with the care of my own animals!
Brooke made my two high demand cats seem like a breeze! They require special medication, food and schedules, Brooke was so caring and knowledgeable about all their needs and didn't miss a single step. She even sent me adorable videos of them playing with her. It's easy to see Brooke loves animals and they love her right back!
Brooke is a kind and caring individual. I remember when I saw a post online about two dogs in a bad situation that needed a new family. I shared it with Brooke who immediately took in the two dogs and got them baths & medical attention. She work tirelessly to get them in great health and found one a new home and they other is now a beloved member of her pack. Brooke is very responsible and left my house in excellent condition. I trust her with any member of my four legged family and my kids love her, too.

Please let me know if your pets have any special needs or accommodations I need to be aware of, especially regarding medical care, allergies, etc. I love to spoil my clients so please let me know if there are any treats or toys your animals CANNOT have! I do NOT work with any pets who have a bite history that has required medical attention.
A typical day
I meet dogs and other pets where they are at! We can run around and romp in the yard, play enrichment games or solve puzzles inside the house, chill on the couch for a cuddle and petting session, or anything in-between. I'm flexible and understanding that every animal has their own special preferences and personalities. It's important to me to find a good balance between keeping pets comfortable with environments and routines they already know, but also introducing some appropriate fun and novelty into our time together to keep things interesting.

🗓 I have a very flexible schedule and am available on many holidays! I do not currently travel to Black Mountain or Asheville for pet care or offer pet care services at my home. If you need care on dates that are listed as unavailable on my Rover calendar, please contact me as I may have limited spots open.
