Pet care experience
Hi, I’m Brook. I have more than 10 years experience caring for all kinds of animals in professional environments and have lived with a wide variety of pets my entire life. I have worked in pet shops, zoos and veterinary hospitals in both the US and UK. I have a degree in Zoology and am 4th year student at the Royal Veterinary College pursuing my dream career of becoming a vet! I work part time as a nurse at a local vet surgery, where I get to cuddle all the patients like they’re my own pets! I am available to walk dogs and house sit cats (as well as various other critters from birds and bunnies to lizards and fish, just ask!). I’m happy to work with pets of all sizes, but have a special place in my heart for extra large dogs as my family in America own St Bernards. I am Fear Free certified meaning I have taken a course to better understand fear, stress and aggressive behaviour in companion animals. Brook spent three days with our new puppy and she was superb, excellent with dogs, very prompt on her timing and very professional. She treated Hugo as if he was her own, she gave him his meals and helped with his potty training and tried to teach him tricks. She was sending us messages and picture throughout the day to keep us updated which was brilliant, and reassured us he is in safe hands and having great time which was so important to us. I would defiantly book Brook again whoever she has free time.
Wonderful loving trustworthy person and very caring and knowledgeable regarding any fur babies wild or domestic. We guarantee you will be very pleased knowing your fur baby will receive the best care.

A typical day
While in for a drop in visit I’m happy to give your pets a little exercise and time outdoors to decompress and potty. While out on walks I enjoy waking near the river or the park but tend to keep pets on-lead unless specifically stated by the owner.
