I love all animals. ALL OF THEM. ☺️ If it takes a dog some time to warm up to new people, I will work with them to hopefully gain their trust using patience and a gentle, loving presence. I feel that I have a strong connection to animals, especially dogs.

Brook is a responsible, loving, and skilled caregiver for pets! She has pet sat for our dog and cat for more than 5 years. Both were/are aging pets who need specific feeding and medication requirements. Brook always makes sure they stay healthy but also that they get love and affection too. She’s the best!
A friend recommended Brook and told me she had a magic touch with animals. Our dog, Sammy, is very nervous and slow to warm up to people. When Brook came to meet Sammy, she laid down and let Sammy take the lead. They are now super close. Brook is calm, caring, and super responsive when she watches Sammy. I highly recommend Brook as a dog sitter, we are lucky to know her.

I have a large fenced in back yard. My dog, Dwight, only goes out when someone is home. I often leave the back door cracked (I have a screen shield) when I am home so he is free to go in and out. He stays inside to sleep and relax while I’m at work or away from home.

A typical day
Go on walks, play with their favorite toys, etc. I think it is important to keep active dogs physically and mentally stimulated so they don’t get bored and act out with destructive behaviors. I love being outside so I’m happy to have plenty of outdoor time with your dog ☀️

Availability
I am a teacher, so I work from 7:45 - 3:00 during the week. I could do early morning visits and afternoon/evening visits. My weekends are usually always free, unless I am traveling.
