There is nothing that puts a bigger smile on my face than a warm greeting from a pup. Feeling that joyful energy tends to make you happy instantaneously. If you can't tell yet, I love dogs. Immediately drawn to these furry creatures as a young child, I had wanted (and asked) for one ever since I can remember! It wasn't until my sophomore year of high school that my wish came true, when my parents brought home Naya, the sweet baby Rhodesian Ridgeback. We had her for a little over two wonderful years, until she became ill with lyme disease, which was misdiagnosed by the vet. By the time we found out, it was too late. She was such a loving dog and a joy to have in the family. After Naya's death, we soon got Moya, another radiant Rhodesian Ridgeback. We had her all throughout my college years, and she continues to live an adventurous life with my parents today. I unfortunately had to say, "see ya later" to Moya when I moved to CO, but we still FaceTime! I can't wait to get a pup of my own, and look forward to all the adventures we'll share out here in CO. Aside from caring for Naya & Moya, I have a lot of experience pet-sitting for family and friends as well. My grandparents got a Chocolate Lab, Maggie, when I was in middle school, she was practically my dog - she would even stay at our house. Various cousins of mine have had me care for their dogs (Labs, Retrievers, Puggles) while away. A close family friend from CT has had me watch their dog on several occasions, while they're away on vacation. My close friend, Kayleen, has a couple hound mixes whom I have minded on many occasions - I don't think she would trust anyone but me (or her mom) with her dogs! I've watched many dogs & always am delighted by it, just ask anyone who'd care for your dog with more love! Also, I love going on adventures - hiking, swimming, running, biking, etc. !
