Reviews
Brondie cared for our Golden retriever Nala during our 3 week trip to Australia and New Zealand. She always provides regular updates and communication. We already have her booked for another trip. She has our highest recommendation!
Brondie did a great job caring for Maisie and Poppy! She was also very patient with several changes leading up to the petsit from me, which I appreciated very much. I would not hesitate to recommend her.
Brondie is so patient with our high energy dog and has been wonderful at being flexible with us and our schedules! We love her reliability.
Brondie did house sitting for us for 8 days. She did great with our elderly dogs, she sent photos so we could feel close them while far away. She communicated with us well. Unfortunately, she had to deal with a plumbing disaster (toilet tank cracked and was leaking up a storm), fortunately, she handled it great. Hoping she will be available to house sit and take care of our girls on our next trip.
About Brondie V.
Communication
Skills
Safety, trust & environment
Depending on clients home situation I can handle leash, harness or crate when necessary without need for force. Treats or whatever motivates the dog should always be available. Communication on dogs’ needs is vital for pet safety and well being. Expect many smiling pup pictures throughout course of care.
Information Brondie V. would like to know about your pet
Please make sure to communicate clearly your dogs needs and if anything special is required from me as the caretaker, whether it be medical or behavioral. I am willing to work with owners to ensure that their dog is fully and thoroughly looked after. My own dog, Dylan, and I love to join in on dog house sits but understand it is not for everyone! If you’d love for your pet to have a buddy while you (owners) are away, we would love to keep your fur buddy accompanied! Please feel free to reach out with questions or concerns in this regard!
A typical day
Activities depend on the dogs typical lifestyle. I would ask the owner to thoroughly describe to me what their routine is. I think it is important not to change a dogs routine too much especially if they are away from their people. I love finding nearby parks, open spaces to play at and sniff around, as well as nearby dog friendly public spaces like cafes or breweries to lounge and people watch.
Services
Brondie can watch in your home
Availability
Remote worker with flexible schedule. Available to take many breaks throughout day to play with and care for pets including walking, giving medication if needed and cuddling for the more nervous ones. Please include in the initial message of request for services about the parking situation/availability at the location of the scheduled sit as I will be using a personal vehicle to get around!
