I am a responsible and loving parent of one 6 year old daughter, one 4 year old mix breed female dog and two 14 year old female cats. Girl power! A Portland native, I work from home, offering me maximum flexibility to walk, visit, feed or play with any dogs in my care. Weekdays, my daughter is in school and on weekends, she enjoys going on walks to the park or around our neighborhood with the pups in tow. She is an excellent helper, an animal lover dreaming of being a vet one day, but also knows the rules of being cautious around strange dogs until they are familiar. I'm flexible in when I feed/walk the dogs, but typically I feed my dog twice a day, once at morning and again in the evening with a trip to the park or walk around the 'hood late morning or early afternoon. If I run errands, she comes with me often, but also stays home inside snoozing and is ready to go for a walk when I get home. At home, after paws are dried off, dogs are welcome to lounge on the couch or dog bed, chew toys, play in the fenced back yard, and even snuggle in bed with me or my daughter. If the dogs need separation, but home allows for that while still keeping a close eye on everyone. The cats have their own closed off area with outdoor access in the basement and rarely make an appearance when other dogs are present. Should you choose for me to visit your loved ones at home, or welcome them into mine, I offer loving and compassionate care at flexible times to meet your schedule. I've lived with dogs in Portland my entire life and feel they should be treated like family.
