Pet care experience
I’ve taken care of dogs, cats and many other animals for many years since I a kid. I grew up always outside and around animals so it feels very natural for me to be around them and in my home. I currently have a mini farm with a dog, three cats and chickens.

We have a big backyard with a pond and lots to explore. We now have a fence! We have just under an acre for them to play and run. I’m very happy to learn what works best for your pet. I would not leave them outside unattended, if I have to leave the house for some reason they would go in their crate or be in the house depending on your needs. I’m happy to do crates or whatever would make your sweet pet feel most comfortable, but it is not a requirement that they have a crate. I do have chickens in their own fenced space, but if their safety becomes an issue I’ll walk the dog outside in the yard with a leash. Want all the animals happy and most importantly safe!

PLEASE NOTE: I am only taking medium-large dogs over 50 pounds on a case by case basis. As I have small children and various small animals. We love big dogs, but want to make sure it is a good fit so we are all happy and safe. Thank you!
A typical day
We have several parks nearby but our property is a little park in and of itself with lots to explore and see. We have our fence up so we can play all kinds of off leash games outside. We live just down the road from a dog park as well if that is a good fit for your pet. We would love to know what your pet loves best so we can meet their needs and make them feel at home. If appropriate I love to take the dogs with us on errands and love getting them a special whip cream treat from Starbucks or Rooted. :) We want them to feel happy and excited to come here! Many owners will say their dog will be excited as they get close to our home when they come back for a stay or visit. We love hearing that!

Availability
I’m currently a stay at home mom. My days are spent mostly at home and working on our little farm with a flexible schedule to do a drop in visit, day care, or to have a boarder. My children love animals and are used to being around various breeds and types.
