Nice big yard on the West side!
Pet care experience
Experience: I initially started dogsitting after I lost one of my own furbabies :-( My standard poodle had lost his best friend and playmate. As I have experience with rescue fostering and transport, transitioning to dogsitting seemed like the natural thing to do as it allowed for my boy to meet new playmates and help keep our minds off of our untimely loss. We have since added another dog to our pack, but we enjoy dogsitting so much that we decided to keep on doing it! Your pups stay: I only accommodate dogs from 1 family at a time (up to 2 dogs per family). Limiting to one family at a time gives your pup(s) a true "home" experience, allows me to spend more time focusing on your furbabies, and helps create a more calm environment. I try to match your dog's normal routine (feeding times, potty times, etc) as to make it as easy on them as possible. I am comfortable administering any oral meds or insulin injections your furry friend requires. My home: Located on the west side near Burdette Park and USI. We have a large half-acre fenced yard that is great for play and a good game of fetch (pics of my yard in my photo gallery). I also have a large crate your pup can use if needed. Your dog doesn't do well with children? No problem! There are no children in the home. My furbabies: I am the momma of 2 young standard poodles as well as a senior mini poodle. The two big boys love to play with dogs of all sizes and have never met a stranger, human or otherwise. They are very excited to meet new playmates which can sometimes overwhelm dogs that are not well socialized or don't necessarily love other dogs. Although I do try to keep meet and greets nice and calm, please keep this in mind, as if you feel your pup cannot handle their initial energy, we may not be the best fit. They do calm down about 20 minutes after meeting, then they are as good as gold! They tend to leave small dogs alone unless the small dog is the one to initiate play :-) Since my miniature poodle is older he will momentarily greet your dog, then go off and do his own thing. There is a neighborhood cat that we care for. If your dog does not get along with cats that is absolutely fine, just give me a heads up so I can make sure the cat isn't in our yard before going outside. Me and my schedule: I am a healthcare worker that works on an "on-call" basis between 8:30-5 Mon-Fri. I am home in between calls, on average I'd say I'm gone a combined total of 4 hours a day, although it does vary. Please feel free to contact me with any questions you may have!

I did not know what to expect using Rover.com for the first time. Brittni sure did not disappoint! She took amazing care of our puppy while we were away for a weekend. She sent us pics of our little guy which helped us feel at ease that he was having just a good of a time that we were! I could tell when I met her that she would be the right person to take care of our little guy. We will definitely be using Brittni again for our future dog sitting needs!
Brittni is now my go-to boarding option, and pretty much my dog's second home. She has the perfect setup where the dog(s) have plenty of room to play, whether inside or out. It's also really great that she has friendly dogs of her own, who my dog absolutely loves.
Brittni is awesome and accommodating. My dog Jax is high energy and he was wore out when I got him home. would highly recommended her service to anyone.
Brittni was a sweet , considerate care giver for my senior Westie. Great communication with pics throughout his stay ! I felt very comfortable leaving my dog in her care.

Information Brittni K. would like to know about your pet
Does your dog get along with other dogs? Does your dog get along with cats? Is your dog potty fully trained (or piddle pad trained)? Is your dog possessive around food or toys? Does your dog walk well on a leash? Is your dog a door-dasher? Does your dog jump barriers such as fences or baby gates?
A typical day
At my home your dog(s) can enjoy my large fenced-in yard (weather permitting). My boys will wear your pupper out with lots of chasing each other around the yard. If your dog likes, we can toss the frisbee or a ball around. On hot days, I'll even fill up the kiddie pool as a fun way for them to keep cool. If your dog prefers leashed walks rather than free play in the yard, I am more than happy to take him/her for a stroll through the neighborhood. I also have plenty of toys inside that my pups have no problems sharing. I will not take your dog off my property (other than neighborhood walks) unless you have given permission.
