Pet care experience
I’ve grown up with small-medium dogs for most of my life back at home in Hawaii. Now that I’m a speech language pathologist in Grand Junction, my 3 pups are no longer with me and I am not in a position to own a dog just yet. However, I’d love to give my love and compassion to some dogs in need of dog walking or drop ins!

Brittney is extremely knowledgeable, passionate, and caring with anything dog-related. She has extensive knowledge of different breeds and caring practices, and my large, older Boxer (10 y/o, ~70 lbs) loves her and always gets excited when she visits!

In the past I have done drop in visits in clients’ homes. I took their dog on walks 1-2x per visit upon request, played with their dog for 30+ minutes upon request, and used any equipment provided by client. I am currently renting a townhouse so I am not quite ready to host a dog in my own place.

Let me know if your dog has any needs and/or preferences! I have most experience with small to medium sized dogs with gentle/calm to excited/playful demeanors. I don’t have much experience with highly reactive dogs so please let me know if your dog is highly reactive / exhibits aggressive behavior.
A typical day
We can go on nice long walks - any length and route requested by client. I’ve helped train a puppy to walk for longer (he preferred staying at home to play!) with high reward treats provided by the client. We also can play at home - fetch, scratchies, anything that will make your dog happy!

I work Tues-Fri until pretty late, so I am generally free Saturday to Monday to give your doggo some love for either dog sitting or walking
