Dogs are an important member of any family. I grew up with several small dogs, and I consider myself a true animal lover. In addition to dog sitting for friends as a teenager, I was solely responsible for the care and well being of several horses. I am an avid traveler, and having lived overseas in Asia for 5 years, I've had the chance to interact with pups of all attitudes and breeds. It is important to me that your dog is safe, well taken care of, and happy when you are reunited, whether that is at the end of the day or a weekend away. I pay very close attention to details and pet behavior, and would not overlook any of your dog's needs. If your pup needs medication or other special accommodation, I am happy to provide. I would love to take an energetic dog for a run or walk in the park, or give extra belly rubs to an older dog who needs some love while their parents are out. I am looking forward to meeting you and your dogs!

For as long as I have known Brittney, I've been aware of her kind heart and compassionate nature. These character traits are inextricably linked to her core and very much reflected in the way she treats both humans and animals. Having spent time together in the presence of a variety of dogs, belonging to friends and family members, I can attest to the fact that Brittney gives off a friendly, non-threatening vibe that dogs instantly warm up to. She has the right energy to play with pups that are a bit high strung but is also attentive and nurturing enough to make her a great caregiver for elder or more temperamental dogs. Overall, I believe Brittney possesses just the right character, energy, and skillset to be a wonderful dog caregiver :)

Before committing to a sitting agreement, it would be helpful to know if your dog has any allergies, fears, or things that trigger an unexpected behavior. Is there a certain way you would like me to conduct walks? Does your dog only respond to certain commands?
A typical day
Depending on your dog's fitness level, we will go on long walks where your pup will have a chance to smell all of the smells and leave his/her mark for the next pooch. All waste will be picked up and disposed of responsibly. Your pup can also look forward to belly rubs, and a game of fetch with his/her favorite toy.
