My name is Brittney and I am a Dog owner and avid animal lover. I currently have one dog named Apollo that I rescued when he was 3 weeks old. He will soon be 2 and I am so lucky to have him, he brings so much joy and happiness to my everyday life with his quirky personality. I couldn't picture life without him so I completely understand the importance of trusting someone to care for your "fur-baby". I grew up with a multitude of pets between my siblings and I that drove my love for animals. When I was younger, I volunteered for 4 years at Peggy Adams Animal Rescue League in Palm Beach. A Basenji mix that ended up there became my best friend one summer, so naturally my family rescued her. We named her Akila and that was the first time I could truly see how thankful not only we are, but how thankful animals are for our love and companionship. I actually ended up spending so much time there, that the amount of hours I volunteered was one of the reasons I received a scholarship for College. I currently live in an apartment complex that is Dog friendly. We have a fenced Dog Park in our complex as well as doggie waste baskets scattered throughout the complex. I currently work in an insurance brokerage throughout the week from 8-4:30 that is less than 5 miles from my home. I have long lunches that I typically use to come home and let Apollo out. I'm free late afternoons, nights and weekends for walking or dropping in. I'm also available to care for your dog overnight any day of the week. I would love the opportunity to host your pets in my home or in yours and I look forward to meeting you and your furry family members.
