I love dogs, and am counting down the days until I can have my own. For now, I'd love to care for yours :) I have walked and cared for dogs of many breeds, (including puppies) for the past 15 years. I am comfortable walking, feeding, bathing, and administering medicine. I am also experienced with caring for and walking dogs who are reactive, anxious, aggressive, or have other special needs. There is nothing I enjoy more than spending time in nature, on a trail with a dog.

Brittany was a super conscientious housesitter and a fun and loving dog sitter while we were away. She took both dogs on fun adventures, sent lots of pictures and updates, and checked in about any questions or concerns to make sure nothing went awry. Both dogs even seem to be better behaved and responsive after she spent the week doting on them! We are very happy!
Brittany was absolutely amazing!! Shes took such great care of Waffles and from all the pictures I could tell Waffles really loved her. I couldn't be happier with the service she provided and next time I'm out of town I'll be asking her to look after Waffles again.

When I stay at your home, you can trust that your dog will be well cared for. We'll go on at least two walks a day, visit a dog park if your dog plays well with others, and hopefully hit up a trail for a hike! I always leave the space cleaner than I found it, and absolutely respect your personal property. I live in a first floor apartment that allows pets. I don't have a backyard, so if I am hosting your dog, I will be sure to give them plenty of walks.

A typical day
I love Portland, and I love exploring its trails and dog parks with the dogs I watch. Some of my favorite spots so far are the Oaks Bottom trail by my house and the Sellwood Riverfront Park, Mt. Tabor, Powell Butte, Forest Park, and Tyron Creek State Park. On a weekend I'm also down to take your dog on an adventure further away! I love taking dogs to the dog parks if they play well with others. If you have a yard, I will happily throw a ball and/or play there too.

Availability
I'm a grad student at Lewis and Clark Graduate School of Education and Counseling. My classes are about 3 hours long, so the longest your dog will be alone is about 4 hours. I can guarantee at least 2 walks per day for your pup. Depending on my schedule, and the needs of your pet, my pricing can be variable.
