Pet care experience
I am a true animal lover, having grown up on a farm with all kinds of pets: horses, dogs, cats, birds, rabbits, geese, fish--you name it! Beyond my personal experience with animals, my husband and I have both worked professional dog walkers and petsitter for over 10 years. We started with a reputable dogwalking company in NYC and since moving to Los Angeles, we have fostered wonderful clients of our own, many of whom you'll see pictured on my profile. :) Over the years, I have walked and boarded dogs of all different breeds, sizes and personalities. Through these experiences, I have amassed a good working knowledge of the needs of different breeds, general training, how to do deal with behavioral issues, and how to administer medication. When we are with your dog, we will always send text or email messages with pictures and updates. I'm also happy to look after/drop in on cats as well! I currently live in Studio City and prefer to stay around these neighborhoods: North Hollywood, Sherman Oaks, Los Feliz/Silver Lake/Echo Park, Burbank, West Hollywood. Brittany was an amazing sitter for my senior dog and two kittens! She regularly sent photos and updates. I appreciated the time she took to care for my senior dog as his walks need a lot of attention and patience. She also made sure to provide the kittens with all the attention they needed. Brittany gave us the option for a meet and greet and was very flexible with drop off and pick up times. Will definitely book in the future!!
Brittany was amazing with our two dogs! She gave us updates and lots of pictures everyday and the dogs really enjoyed being there. We are definitely using her again!

We like in a contained apartment with a fenced in balcony in a gated apartment building. We have plenty of space for a crate if necessary. We live on a great street with lots of friendly dogs your pet can greet. However, if your pet is more anti-social, we can keep to ourselves as well. For safety, we never let client's dogs off-leash or take them to the dog run unless it otherwise specified.

Let us know if your pet has any special needs beforehand and we will do our absolute best to accommodate them. We have experience with medication, senior needs and with dogs that are more high energy or aggressive.
A typical day
A typical day usually involves a nice long morning walk, depending on the pet either 30 min to 1 hour and a half. With high-energy dogs we like to go on hikes around Los Angeles. Then we usually have shorter mid-afternoon and evening walks, and a potty break before bed. In between, we shower our pet client with tons of love and attention, and one of us is usually home with them. With cats, we'll stop in, feed them, clean the litter box and play with them or cuddle as needed.

My husband and I are both artists and freelance/work part time. Typically, one of us is always with your pet. We enjoy long walks around the neighborhood and love to give our pet clients lots of love and attention.
