While in college I have dog sat for various families to earn extra income. I never thought it would be something I would continue to do, but here I am, now 3 years post college, and still dog sitting from time to time. All of my friends now know me as 'the dog sitter' and my family, too. (haha) Growing up we have always had dogs, couldn't live without them! I have volunteered as a dog walker at the Western PA Humane Society and I visit shelters with my sister often, to give the dogs some love! I currently live with my mother and sister, so while I dog sit, our fur babies are being well taken care of as well. I have worked with a variety of different dogs both big and small, from doxies all the way up to great danes! Very energetic, to mellow couch snoozers! I prefer to meet the families prior to visits, so I can get to know them and the dog(s) and learn the routine. Typically families provide food for me to cook there while I am staying at the house (if it's longer than 2 days) but I would be willing to work with whatever the families prefer. I have been to the South Park dog park along with the South Side dog park a few times with different dogs, but only feel comfortable if the dog has been there and are ok with other dogs. I'd like to think i'm very flexible and easy going, and I always do my best to make sure your dog(s) are in good care.
