Hi! I'm Brittany. I recently relocated to the Powhatan/Midlothian area after living in Northern Virginia for many years. I've been an animal lover and pet owner since early childhood, gorwing up with dogs, bunnies, birds, hamsters, chinchillas....and even the ocassional baby chick! I have over 25 years of experience with pups - from raising and training puppies through caring for seniors. My household currently has 3 adorable and energetic Australian Shepherds! I'd love to care for any pet in your family - even the scaley ones :)

So flexible and friendly! We love Brittany!
Brittany stayed with our pup, Friday, in our home for five days while we were on vacation in December. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her! Brittany took amazing care of Friday and sent pictures of their walking journeys and adventure to the dog park. When we returned, it was like we had never even left Friday. We hope to have Brittany stay again and would definitely rebooked!! She did a phenomenal job.
Brittany was such a wonderful sitter for our sweet, old lab! She was punctual, friendly, and had great communication. Bailey is 14 years old and needed some extra TLC which Brittany clearly provided:) It was so nice to have some peace of mind while we were traveling out of town. We’ll be contacting Brittany again!

Familiar routines can be important for some animals so If I'm invited to care for your animal(s) in your home, rest assured I'll follow the guidelines and routines you have established, and leave your space in great condition. I provide photos of your pup having a great time on his/her walk, and any additional check-ins during longer stays that will make you comformtable with their care!

If you're working on certain behaviors or commands, we can review those as well so I can work on them if there is an opportunity! I'm also happy to set up a meet and greet ahead of time so your pup feels more relaxed during our time!
A typical day
I'll take your pup on his/her favorite route, or a brand new one! Your pup sets the pace for our walks, unless you provide different instruction. I give ample time for sniffing while making sure your pup covers enough ground to tire them out. For drop-ins, we can play fetch or tug with their favorite toy, and practice some basic commands!

Availability
My current schedule is flexible so I'm available on a consistent basis in addition to services as-needed. I am generally available for walks or drop-ins from 8am - 9pm. But if you have a special circumstance, just let me know.
