Pet care experience
Hi there! I’m Brittany! I am 27 years old and for the past two and a half years have been working as a veterinary technician part-time. I have been pet sitting since I was around 10 years old along with volunteering/fostering with several animal shelters! I love all types of animals (big and small!) and have taken care of animals that required special care such as animals that: were deaf, blind, required injections, etc. As a vet tech at an animal hospital, I have cared for a variety of different furry friends each with their own unique needs. Those who know me would say “I like animals more than humans” and that “I have a way with animals” (my mom says that). No matter the pet, I always take into account their own unique needs and quirks to better communicate effectively. My biggest priority is the overall safety and healthy environment for your pet and making them feel loved, respected and taken care of (I promise they’re in good hands!). Through Rover, so far I have done house sitting, dog walking, boarding and doggy daycare! I hope to meet all of your pooches soon!

Brittany watched my 2 year old German Shepard while my family was away for the week. She was super responsible and you could tell she is very comfortable around animals. It was great to have someone with such a positive light who was so attentive and excited to spend time with him. We knew we were in great hands! I would absolutely recommend Brittany to anyone looking for a pet caregiver.
Brittany has been my favorite dog walker I have ever had the pleasure of working with. She is always dependable and shows up excited to play with my pup. I have a Saint Bernard puppy named Bilbo and Brittany treats him like he is her own. He is a high maintenance puppy but I trust Brittany to feed him, play with him and show up on time to take him to the dog park and for walks to go to the bathroom. If you're looking for someone bubbly, happy and responsible then Brittany is your girl!!

Brittany loves all animals. She is extremely mature and reliable. She has pet sat in our home as well as in her own. She takes pet care very seriously but also knows how to play and have fun with pets. You and your pet would be lucky to have her as your sitter or walker.

Though I do not have a fenced in private yard, my apartment complex is very large with perfect walking routes around. There is also a dog park on the property which my dog just adores! I take her on several long walks a day with tons of play dates sprinkled in.

Just let me know ahead of time about any special needs your furry friend may have, and I'll ensure they receive the best care possible! As someone who’s fostered and owned reactive doggos I know first hand how nerve wracking it can be to find care for your pet and was to assure you that I’ll follow any guidelines you may have regarding places to avoid, special walking routes, etc.
A typical day
My neighborhood is super pet friendly and I also love walking through trails and on the beach. I have a large grass area and dog park at my apartment and would love to play catch/run and goof around outside too:) I know of a few great local dog beaches as well that I would be happy to explore with of course your permission to use my car to transport the precious cargo!

I am currently taking a break from working so am available for flexible schedule to meet you and your pet’s needs! I have a pup of my own, so need to take her out and give her some love as well but for the most part I’m totally willing to work around whatever schedule works best for you!
