I am enthusiastic about all animals! I am a proud dog mom and I will provide the love and care for your pup when you are not available. I have a 2 year old German Shepherd dog/Rottweiler mix that picked me from a local rescue organization. Prior to her, I was lucky enough to have a sweet energetic old black lab, who passed at the age of 14. I have been through rigorous training classes with my current pup. Once she settles down a bit- I plan on having her certified as a Canine Good Citizen and also trained to be used for animal assisted therapy. I have been told that I am responsible, attentive and receptive to the needs of humans and critters. I am comfortable with light grooming tasks (brushing, bathing and sometimes nail trims.) I have a B.S. in Human Services with an Emphasis in Mental Health and Counseling. I currently work with people who have disabilities to provide assistance navigating health care systems and other services the community. I am considering going back to school for a Master's degree in social work.
