I worked in animal rescue for over 4 years, and did everything from basic care, to oral and injectable medications. I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, and temperaments. I’ve also worked with a few special needs dogs who had trouble walking. My work has also exposed me to behavior issues as well, and I am very comfortable handling management routines. Outside of my rescue work I have personal experience with senior dogs, and high energy dogs (I have a husky, and a border collie mix myself). In the past, I have also had shepherds and poodles. I now have a work from home job, so my availability is fairly open. I can easily do over-night stays, and week-long stays. I also don’t mind taking care of cats and small animals.
