I volunteer at GCAC regularly and have walked, interacted with and even fostered dogs of all different sizes, breeds and temperaments. I am patient, loving and trustworthy! I currently work from home so have a lot of time and attention to give. I have one dog of my own who is extremely friendly and welcoming. He has even helped foster dogs feel more comfortable when transitioning. I work full time from home. My job is very flexible so I am able to take many breaks throughout the day to take dogs potty, play and exercise. I take my dog for a 20-30 minute walk every 2-3 hours. We also like to visit a dog park or beach a few times a week. My apartment complex has a decent sized gated off dog park and we like to take advantage of that too throughout the day to get some off leash time. Pets are allowed to roam freely in my home. I do not have a yard as I live in an apartment, but my dog and I take regular potty, play and walking breaks throughout the day. We have a dog park in the apartment complex and a dog park within a 10 minute drive. Pets are allowed on the couch and bed and snuggles are encouraged! My dog grazes on his food but I am able to set up separate feeding times/locations if that is necessary. My dog is very friendly and welcoming and would love to keep your pets company.
