Pet care experience
I have loved animals ever since I was a small child growing up with two labradors and a rabbit. I was involved with pet care and continue to use those skills to take care of my own cats along with other animals. I had the pleasure of fostering feral cats and kittens as well as dogs. I was the proud parent of a rescued senior dog with some behavioral problems from his previous life before being rescued that we worked through. I miss having a dog and would love the opportunity to take care of someone’s fur family member. I consider myself to be extremely patient with animals and understand that each pet has unique needs.

A typical day
Depending on outdoor space and dog, we would play fetch outside and get some energy out. If my dog pal isn’t tired yet, we’ll go for a little walk. After that, we hang out and depending on the dog, will have another play and walk.

I am currently working part-time with around 3-4 days off during the week. Taking care of animals would be an excellent use of my time as I look for a new career field.
