Pet care experience
I have been around animals my whole life (since birth) - cats, dogs, horses, birds, etc. As a young child I was made to learn how to be responsible with my pets and how to treat them. I love them like children and treat them all the same way. Over the years I have kept friends, family, and neighbors' pets daytime and overnight. I have fostered several dogs from rescue situations as well. I have experience with dogs with health problems or disabilities as well from personal experience. Administering medications and insulin shots and restricted diets I can do as well. I have a passion for animals and would love to be able to interact and take care of your fur-babies as well.

Brittany was professional and flexible! I booked her to drop in for my cat while we were away. Our dates were unsure, as we were waiting on the birth of our grandchild. We are so grateful for Brittany! She took wonderful care of our cats while we were away for a week. My wife and I were pleased to receive pictures every day. The best part was coming home to very happy cats!! We obsessed with our cats and always worrying and feeling guilty for leaving them at home while we travel, but knowing they will be taking care of them makes me feel so much better!

I currently have two miniature schnauzers that are are absolute babies and love everyone and other pets. In my home I can divide off my kitchen and living room for separation if needed during the day. Per your preference or your pet's level of comfort I can crate as well. When I am home from work they have run of the house just like children. I have a very large fenced play yard for them to run and play in. I do not leave them unsupervised or where I cannot see them. Especially small dogs. The entire backyard is not fenced though. I live in a neighborhood with a dead end street for walks. A lot of time for running errands I take them with me and even have stops by the dog park, Main Street, or trail. If your dog enjoys being out, riding, and social we do things like this. Night time routine they can sleep with me, in my bedroom, or if they are crated and you want to continue that I can do that too. Typically I move crates to my bedroom at night so I can hear them. During the day crates stay in the kitchen. I will work with you to try to stay on your pets' routine as well and what your "house rules" are.

I like to know their personality - social, personality, what their favorite activity is, do they like to ride. What is their feeding schedule, do they need a crate, and where do they sleep typically? If they have a favorite toy or blanket they would like to bring with them.
A typical day
We will do walks in the neighborhood. Play ball and with toys inside and out. If dogs are super social we will make appearances at the brewery and downtown. The dog park is always an option weather depending. And sometimes just riding around. Obviously lots and lots of cuddles. I have interactive dog feeders for food/treats and do interactive activities such as hiding treat or using special toys.

Availability
I work Monday - Friday from 8 - 5. I am home daily for an hour for lunch. I do not work evenings or weekends so I am home with the exceptions of general errands.
