Pet care experience
I’ve been taking care of dogs since I was 7 years old, starting with my crazy Siberian Husky. Once teen years hit I started to take care of others pets during their family vacations and out of town trips. I’ve cared for puppies, adult and senior dogs, cats, chickens, ducks, birds, guinea pigs, chinchillas and hermit crabs. Feeding, bathing, walking, giving oral medications… you name it and I’ve likely done it haha

I offer 2-3 daily check-ins. I will stay up to 1 hour each trip to ensure the pet has plenty of time to run and play and release some energy as well as adequately relieve their bladders/bowels. I also offer overnight stays and giving oral medications. I’m additionally capable of bathing and walking dogs 60 pounds and under.

I need to know if your dog has any leash, people, or dog reactivity. Do I need to be prepared for lunging and pulling? What are their general leash manners like? Any specific commands they know such as “leave it” or “heel”
A typical day
I love playing fetch with dogs! If they have a favorite toy we can play for hours! On walks we can explore all the new and different smells and take our time to enjoy the fresh air

Availability
My current job consists of teaching the flagline for a marching band in beaver county. This is a 2 hour job 2-3 times a week so I have very open availability throughout the day. I do babysit my 11 year old sister weekdays until about 1pm so if there is reactivity or apprehension towards children let me know so I can keep her away but otherwise she has grown up around animals and is very good with them if you don’t mind her being with me
