Pet care experience
I work from home full time and Kolby works from home most weeks, so there will always be someone around to watch over your pup. We both grew up with dogs and have experience with various breeds/size/ages/etc. We live in a quiet neighborhood with no through streets and plenty of sidewalks to walk your dog, and have a backyard with a small portion fenced off. Our dog Charlie loves having furry friends over. He is great at matching other dogs' energy (whether it's hyper play time or constant naps) and gets along so well with other dogs. We did pet sitting through Rover before we adopted Charlie and loved it, but took a break once we had a dog of our own while living in an apartment. Now that we have more space we are ready and excited to care for more dogs!

Coco had a great time with Brittany and Kolby.
Brittney and Kolby are amazing! They have been extremely accommodating and are just wonderful people. Charlie is super great with our dog, happy to see him every time we drop off Zeus. Zeus is so excited to go to their house he literally runs right to their door and into the house. I know he’s well cared for while he is there. Brittany and Kolby treat him like he is their own. Charlie greets him like they are old friends.

We have a deck and large fenced yard, but I would not leave your dog outside unattended! We allow the dogs everywhere in the house and have Charlie's old crate if needed (he doesn't use it anymore).

We prefer house trained dogs and welcome all breeds! Let us know how your dog gets along with others, if they are protective over toys, what they are like when approaching/being approached by another dog, and how they react around food/treats, especially when other dogs are present. Please also let us know their sleep schedule (do they get anxious to get to bed by a certain time? When do they wake up/expect breakfast?) and how they are with plants (we have many, do they tend to chew on leaves?)
A typical day
We would love to take your dog on long walks, play fetch in the yard, and/or just snuggle up on the couch! With your permission, we can also take a short car ride (we have doggy seat belts!) to a nearby park for an extra long walk too.

Availability
At a minimum we have a morning, lunch, post work, and pre-bedtime potty break. We make 1-2 of those breaks a walk and I’m always in a Fitbit step competition so if your dog likes long walks then this is the place to be!
