Pet care experience
My husband and I are retired, and enjoy hanging out with our pups all day. We take walks, play with toys, and hang out on the couch. My husband and I do not have children, and we live in a cabin with a fenced-in yard on the Little River in Townsend. We currently have 2 dogs. I have had pets for over 14 years, including caring for 2 senior dogs and administering medicines/ advanced care. Our home is set up so that your dog(s) will have room to play, snuggle on a rug or a couch, or lie on the floor in peace. We also have a covered porch that allows pups to enjoy being outside without being exposed to the elements. We do not crate or kennel our animals, and therefore will not crate your sweet pup(s) unless you bring a crate and would like us to use it. ****AT THRU-HIKER FRIENDLY -- We will pick up and drop off your pups, whether you are NOBO or SOBO, and we are extremely flexible!**** ***Local to Townsend - Pick-up and drop-off is free of charge (within 5 miles of our house - includes campgrounds near GSMNP entrance)***

Brittany and Keith were the perfect month long hosts for my two dogs, one being a Great Dane who required extra medical attention. Both Brittany & Keith made it a priority to help my dogs feel at home away from home. They returned home healthy, happy & loved. The pick up & delivery services were a HUGE added benefit.

Our first time using Rover and Brittany set the bar high!! We were hiking the AT and needed a place to for our dog to stay while we were going through the Smoky’s. They came out and picked our dog up at the start of the trail and gave our dog a loving home for the week. Brittany sent pictures everyday and was so caring. Highly recommend!! We were lucky to find them!
fantastic people, sent us lots of adorable pictures, highly recommend, would definitely ask them to watch our " kids " again!

A typical day
Townsend has a fantastic walking path that runs for about 6 miles, along Route 321, that is within .5 mile walk from my house. I like to walk my dogs 1 hour per day. My dogs love playing with rope toys and tennis balls and I like playing catch with them!
