Q: What do you get when you mix two energetic, creature-loving boys with neighborhood parks, hiking trails, backyard play, beaches and movie-night snuggles?.. A: A positively 'pawsable' hound-hosting cocktail! We are an active family of four living and loving the Bay Area lifestyle. When we are not playing in our grassy back yard, we are hiking, biking, climbing trees, walking beaches or enjoying one of the 3 amazing parks within walking distance to our house... all while wishing we had a furry companion to join us. Our 1st and 3rd grade boys are fun loving, spirited animals themselves who thrive when in the company of dogs. Our little one has a magical connection with animals, as park playing hounds, neighborhood cats and pets of friends gravitate to him. Both boys have worked with our neighbor in practicing commands with his lab, who now stops at our front door looking for the boys when walking past our house. Our older son joins a friend of ours every week for local hikes with her dog, as well. What are we missing? A hound to love on. To play fetch with... To take for long walks. We miss the interpersonal connections that school and activities offered pre-pandemic. Having a dog around to help take care and bond with would bring us all much joy. A Buddy. We are home during the day and happy to integrate your companion into our family fold with frequent walks, consistent focus and TLC. I grew up in a family with a soft spot for rescue pets, having at least one dog and cat in our home at all times. Any funds earned via this service will go directly to our boys’ saving accounts.
