Hi, I'm Brittany! My fiance and I have had experience caring for pets of all sizes our entire lives. We love the companionship of an animal and are eager to make a new furry friend. Our beloved, 13yo Rottweiler, Hercules, recently passed, and we are missing the energy and excitement of a dog in our home. We're not ready to take on the full responsibility of another animal right now, so we are looking to give time and attention to any friends in need over the weekends or holidays! With 5 years of a large dog in apartments of all shapes and sizes in New York, and years in other locations across the country, I am confident that we've seen it all. No task is too large, no breed is off limits!

I can tell how much Moses loves going to hang with Brittany and Ben, and I can tell how much they enjoy hanging out with him! They’re the best.
My pup requires a lot of companionship so I really appreciated Brittany’s help. Her home is so lovely and close to the park. I could tell when I picked her up she was calm and cared for.
Brittany was great since the beginning. You can actually feel how much she loves taking care of dogs. She sent me a lot of pictures, which made me super happy and with peace of mind. She was also very proactive on helping me with my schedule by offering to pick up/drop off Dobby. It was amazing! She is great and I really recommend her!
Brittany was great! Sent updated pictures and made our pup feel right at home. We'll definitely see them again!

Your dog will have the best time running around with us, playing with toys, or just hanging out, depending on their mood. We are respectful of any rules you've put in place regarding food or commands, know how to administer medication, and are experienced in crate-trained and free-roaming pets. Please let us know if you have any special needs or requests.

While we pride ourselves in being able to embrace and adapt to any quirks, please do let us know if your dog has special needs or tendencies. We want to keep all parties safe and happy at all times. We are experienced with dogs who prefer people, are quick to react to the dreaded skateboarder, and are patient enough to stare at squirrels for hours.
A typical day
We love to match our energy level with whatever your dog is feeling! If they need to burn off some energy at the dog park - great! - we are right by Washington Square Park's dog run. If your dog prefers a long, leisurely stroll, we'll grab our maps and do some exploring. More of a sit and observe type? Fantastic! We've got the perfect bench in mind.

Availability
We are in an office Tuesday through Thursday and have a flexible work-from-home schedule Friday through Monday. Weeknights after 5 are available for walks, daycare, or drop-in visits as well.
