Hi! My name is Brittany and I have loved and cared for animals of all kinds since I was a kiddo. I wish I could have a dog of my own, but am not able to right now because I'm in grad school. I'm so excited about the opportunity to meet and love on your pet. I know that it can be stressful to trust someone else to care for your pet while you're away, and I empathize with that. To put you at ease, I will communicate well with you. I love to send photos and videos of pups, sharing all of the activities that we are doing together :) I am also a flexible, reliable, and responsible person, and I will treat you, your home, and your pet with gentleness and respect. Thanks for considering me in your search! I also worked as a photographer as my side hustle before entering into grad school, so I hope to take some cute photos of your pet while we hang :)

Brittany did a fantastic job with our Margot! Our pup can become super attached so it is tough to leave her for more than a few days. Brittany did a great job staying with her and keeping her company. We hope we can work with her the next time we are out of town!!
Brittany went above and beyond and was a phenomenal dog sitter for our little Rudy. She is so calm and communicative and sent nice photos and updates often while we were away. She took beautiful photos of Rudy that I will treasure! Rudy seemed to love her and she was great with him. She also took amazing care of our apartment when we were away- making sure everything was clean and tidy. I felt so confident having her as our dog sitter and cannot recommend her enough. Will absolutely be reaching out to her again in the future.
Brittany was fantastic sitting for a few days for our 3 month old puppy. It’s a lot of work caring for her, but Brittany seemed to do a very good job, spending a lot of time with her, providing detailed updates and caring for the puppy. She also was a fantastic house guest. Would definitely have her stay here again.

I will follow any and all instructions that you leave about caring for your pet in your home. I would be happy to take them on walks, play fetch and other games, change litter boxes, replenish food and water, and spend time petting and cuddling with them.

I would like to know about your dog's normal routine (what time they sleep and wake up, what time they eat, etc.) so I can keep them as comfortable as possible while you're away. I'd also like to know about their temperament; are they ever anxious? How do they do with storms, other animals, and other people? Do they have any allergies or any health conditions I should know about? It's helpful to know your preferences as well, like if you would be okay with us visiting a dog park or meeting friends! I want to treat you and your pet in a way which makes you feel the most at ease. All of this information will help me to partner with you in providing the best care for your pup.
A typical day
I love going on walks with pups, and usually go on several walks every day. I'm also a big fan of playing fetch and visiting any local dog parks, assuming your dog gets along well with other dogs and humans.

Availability
My schedule changes from day to day because I am a fourth year doctoral student and also working as a mental health therapist, but I often have free time in the mornings and evenings (and sometimes have flexible time throughout the day). I would love to use some of this time to partner with you in caring for your pets!
