Pet care experience
I’m a recent transplant to this beautiful city and I’m still in full exploration mode. It feels like I fall in love with Seattle every time I step outside! There’s just so much to see and experience on all sensory levels, I can’t even decide which part of the city is my favorite. I really enjoy how nature is juxtaposed with urban spaces––a veritable playground for a dog and a city explorer like myself. I’m a very adventurous, optimistic, and friendly person––it kind of sounds like I’m a Golden Retriever. People tell me I exude positivity and I get along well with animals and people in general. I try to walk everywhere, for both exercise and to make Seattle my home, so nothing would make me happier than to have a furry friend by my side. After our many walks and adventures, we’d come back home and snuggle on the couch while watching TV. I’m also a foodie, so I love to experiment in the kitchen as well as dine out, and hopefully my new furry friend can accompany me. I try to lead a balanced life, so your pup and I will get our share of play and rest. I’ve had pups of my own over the years and my family always had different kinds of pets when I was growing up. I’ve volunteered at shelters for the past couple of years, as well as pet-sitting gigs for friends and acquaintances. I can’t imagine my life without dogs (or cats for that matter), and since moving to Seattle, I’ve really missed that connection with our four-legged best friends. I’d like to continue my passion for taking care of dogs here, and it’ll also help me meet dogs and their human companions! Being new to any city can be challenging, but I think this will be a great way for me to explore this vibrant, expansive city, but also get the companionship and unconditional love I crave from our furry friends. I’m really excited to be here and I’m looking forward to making Seattle my home, so the more dogs and human friends I can have in my life, the better. It’s really hard to articulate who you are in such a small amount of space, but I hope my love of dogs and adventure are obvious. It would be my honor to take care of your beloved pup and you’d be doing me such a great favor by letting me spend some quality time with your sweet and amazing dog.

Brittany was wonderful with my dog! She worked so well with and even was able to help him walk more effectively. He missed her when she had to go home. I would recommend her any day.

I think a meet and greet will be essential for us to establish a good bond. In addition, this will be a great opportunity for me to get to know your pup and how best to take care of his or her needs. I’ll want to know any dietary, medical, or behavioral needs to ensure your pup’s health, safety, and happiness. This will be a great opportunity for us to get to know each other and familiarize ourselves with all the necessary details. I will also gladly provide regular photo and text updates to fill you in on our daily activities. I realize how stressful it is to leave your beloved pet with a relative stranger, so I’ll do my best to keep you up-to-date!
A typical day
Since I’m relatively new to the city, I like to get out and about as much as possible. If your pup is up for it, I’d love to have him or her be my partner in crime. We’ll start the morning with a nice walk around the neighborhood, taking our time sniffing everything. Then we’ll have a hearty breakfast. After some play time, I’ll run some errands in the early afternoon. Once I get back, we’ll probably go to a nearby dog park or walk around Gasworks and/or Discovery Park. I’m always up for exploring new and different parts of the city, so your pup will definitely be getting a lot of fresh air. Once we get a nice long walk in the evening, we’ll come back and cuddle up on the couch while watching movies or eating a homemade dinner. I really miss having a dog in my life, so I’m more than thrilled to care for your pup as long as you’ll have me.
