Hello! I have extensive experience caring for all types of dogs. Large, small, energetic, calm- you name it! We have one dog, a 7 year old Yorkie named Sheldon, but I have owned several different breeds (Collies, Beagles, Labs, English Bulldogs, etc). I will care for your dog as if he/she were my own. Anything I can do to make you and your dog comfortable will be done! I WORK FROM HOME (I'm an online high school English teacher) so I will be home all day with your baby! We live on a large, fenced in piece of property (4 acres) on the Northeast side of Jacksonville, plenty of space for walks and exercise! Or, if your dog prefers the easy life, they will be indoors at all times (aside from going potty) if you so choose. We also have a screened in patio area. We are located about 10 minutes from River City Marketplace/Jax Airport. We have a four year old son who is very gentle, respectful, and comfortable with dogs. He has been around dogs since birth and we have taught him how to treat and handle all animals. The only situation where I wouldn't be able to keep your dog(s) is if he or she is aggressive with children (but playful and energetic dogs are always welcome!). I absolutely love all breeds, sizes, and temperaments of dogs! However, for the time being, we are only keeping dogs under 25 pounds. Meet my pets We have one dog- Sheldon, a very friendly Yorkie. About my yard I live on a very large piece of property, approximately 4 acres of land. There is a "rough fence" around the whole property, but it is not tightly fenced in with a standard fence. We have kept several clients who were comfortable allowing their dogs to play with us off leash in the yard, but only if you give us your express permission once you see the size of the yard. We also have a screened patio in the back if your dog(s) like to sit out in the sun :)
