I do not have a fenced yard, so all potty breaks are on leash in our front yard and on walks. My house has baby gates to keep dogs in designated areas, with a nice open living room for pups to play in while in my view as I work from my desk. My house is dog friendly, pups are allowed on furniture and laps, and on the bed if not crate trained. My dog has allergies so we are comfortable with special diet needs, med administration, etc. We live close to a nice dog park and like to spend our mornings there, the park has a small/shy dog area if your dog is not comfortable yet, or if you would like them kept separate.
