Pet care experience
Growing up with many different dogs, I know & love them very much. I understand they all have different personalities and behaviors so I’m experienced to cater to individual needs. I’m an extremely attentive, playful and respectful dog sitter that will do anything to ensure the safety and happiness of your dog. I will be available 24/7 while caring for your dog and happy to provide any special care. Call me a helicopter sitter, but I don’t keep my eyes off your dog unless told otherwise (esp puppies since I know they like to eat just about anything!). I understand that spending time outside is important for dogs and I want to ensure they spend as much time out of a crate (if using one) as possible. I am very active, so I can assure you your dog will get ample playtime inside and outside. If they prefer to cuddle on the couch to relax and soak up belly rubs, I’m all for that as well. I’m pleased to provide any recommendations in advance if need be. I live in a spacious, clean home with my husband who is also a huge animal lover. We have no pets but always looking for some love! I understand that dogs are part of the family, so I will treat yours as if it is part of mine!

Brittany was over-the-top wonderful! She struck just the right balance between keeping us informed (Merlin is a picky eater) without sending too many messages. Not only was it obvious that Merlin was in good hands, but we felt that our concerns were appreciated and taken care of, too. We loved the pictures of Merlin relaxing on the couch! Brittany is an amazing dog sitter. She nursed our dog back to health and took care of him better than we do! Rusty was having stomach issues when we dropped him off. He threw up a couple more times after but Brittany was so good to him that by the time we picked him up, he was completely well!! Thank you Brittany. :) rusty will be staying with you again in the future!
Brittany is fantastic! She is warm and friendly, and clearly loves dogs. She was attentive to details about Maggie's care, putting a cushion near a window so Maggie could look out when she learned that Maggie liked to do that. We loved getting pictures of Maggie on walks, playing, and cuddling. And Brittany was kind and flexible when we needed to shift our schedule slightly due to a late plane. We look forward to having her care for Maggie again!

We have an acre of land but it is not fenced in. I’m happy to play with your dog inside or outside. The paved Bruce Freeman trail is right in my back yard for leashed walks.

Availability
I work from home everyday outside of Wednesdays (in the Boston office from 7-6 pm but I may be able to leave work early if needed). Every other week day I work from home and can be present with your dog all day while I work from my laptop. I’m able take ample breaks for food, potty and play time. Weekends I’ll be available 24/7 outside of a grocery store run unless you prefer I stay with your doggie.
