For more than 7 years I house sat for a friend’s mom who had over ten small dogs, one large dog, a cat and two horses. Luckily, she had a fenced in yard where I could throw toys for the dogs and allow them to run around safely. Currently, I have a friend with a boxer who I watch quite often, dropping in during the week to exercise him through frisbee play in his yard. We take walks and have tons of couch cuddling. His boxer has dietary restrictions due to allergies and I always follow his feeding schedule, taking care to ignore his excessive but adorable attempts at getting other “treats”. Dogs are fantastic playmates and companions. I love spending time with them. I take great care in maintaining a schedule and providing every dog the love and care they deserve.
