Pet care experience
As a dog walker, I do not walk packs but give the dogs I walk, or check-in at home, individual attention. I learn what the dog loves to do for fun, what their favorite route is, and keep up-to-date on any health alterations the dog may be going through by keeping in contact with owners. Additionally, I leave notes telling the owners what time I came in, whether they went #1 and/or #2, and what we did that day. To me, each dog has their own unique personality and deserve personal attention. My previous experiences come from growing up with dogs mostly Chow mixes and German Shepherds, taking care of friends' dogs while they were away, and was part of a dog walking group in Manhattan.

Brittany was fantastic with our dog. She always left our house exactly like we left it and we loved that she asked so many questions about our dog. You can tell she really cares and wants it to be a wonderful experience for both owner and pet. She makes sure the dog feels comfortable and wants to know the routes they like and anything to watch out for. I loved getting pics and updates about the walks. She's very detailed with the updates. I would highly recommend Brittany!

A typical day
On walks, it will be the dog's favorite route as specified by the owner or maybe a new one around the neighborhood or to the park if they don't have one. Or if asked, I can take them to the dog park for some outdoor fun by the Dyker Beach Golf Course. If we are just hanging out together at home, fetch or tug of war with their favorite toy. For either option, a dog always has my attention.
