I have had my current doggo for 3 years and grew up with dogs. In high school, I gained a lot of experience handling and socializing dogs both as a shelter volunteer and as a dog walker/sitter. I'm not a professional trainer, but I do use positive reinforcement and have experience working with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I have experience providing some would care and administering medications (orally and topically). I will do whatever I need to do to keep your pooch happy and healthy!

Brittanie takes great care of our adopted Black Mouth Cur, Belle. When we adopted Belle she had a lot of behavioral issues and Brittanie was able to effectively work with her. Brittanie takes her on walks and ensures she is properly fed and cared for. She has a great love of dogs and cats and will work to ensure your pet gets the attention it needs.

I think play is very important for pet happiness and health. I can play rope or fetch and redirect if they start getting a little rough. I also correct when dog's jump on me because who wants that? I can take dogs on short or long walks depending on the request. I can also ensure they are getting any food, treats, or medications that they need. I will not be caring for dogs in my home since my dog might not like that. I'm happy to care for your dog(s) while you're at work, or stay there/check on them if you are on vacation.

I would like to know if there are any concerns with aggression or reactivity. Let me know if your dog has allergies or food sensitivities. If your dog is contagious, I will pass in order to not spread illness.
A typical day
I like going for walks, playing catching, and playing with toys. I'm also to help with basic grooming such as brushing. Belly rubs are also a must!

Availability
I am currently a graduate student and completing and internship. I do a lot of work online, so my schedule is usually pretty flexible. I have most availability on the weekends and can likely make any other time work as well, with enough notice.
