Pet care experience
We are a couple with years of experience caring for other people's pets! Jason and I have been pet-sitting together for over three years for everything from dogs to cats to chickens. Additionally, I've been working with dogs since I could legally work. I started working at dog kennels at 16 years old and have done some variation as a side job since (dog walker, doggy daycare, fostered dogs, pet-sit). I am also in the process of becoming a certified dog trainer. Jason has 6yrs experience training his service dog Sage (who was magic when he was with us) and enjoys researching the best techniques for training and bonding with k9's specific needs. Jason and I love animals and always treat the pets we watch as we would treat our own. :)

My elderly cat has major separation anxiety and is usually a basket case when I return home from a trip. Brittainy and Jason were here for 2 weeks, and I returned home to a happy and healthy cat. They took excellent care of my home and my baby. Even my plants looked better than when I left. Thank you Brittainy and Jason.
Brittainy and Jason were wonderful. My rescue dog can be difficult and they handled him great. We appreciated the frequent updates and pictures that proved he was happy and healthy. They were respectful of the house and left it in prefect condition.

A typical day
We are an active couple, who love to take the dogs we watch on hikes and walks around our neighborhood (if physically able). We are lucky to live within 10-20 minutes of many dog-friendly trails. One of our favorite places is Staunton State Park, which is less than 2 miles from our home.
