About this sitter: I love animals of all kinds, unfortunately, I'm not in a place in my life where I can afford a dog of my own...yet. But I need some animal play time in my life and love to walk and pet-sit! I am able to bring your pets to my home, or come hang out and stay with your pet in their home and am available to walk any dogs before 8am and after 5 pm M-F and ALL DAY Sat and Sun! I understand that your pet is a part of your family and I genuinely care about all animals and their needs and will treat your loved one as my own. I've been an animal owner since the age of 4 and am an experienced pet-sitter and dog-walker. I love spending time with animals and genuinely care about all living creatures. I really believe that animals provide people with happiness and joy that sometimes others can not and they really enrich an experience. Why I love dog sitting I've been an animal lover from birth but first adopted my cat Leo at the age of 4 from the Humane Society. He was about to be put down because of the limit that particular Humane Society had on the length of an animals stay. They brought him into the visiting room; he took one look at my mom and I, peed and then bolted out the door. Right then, we knew Leo was the cat for us. JAG, my crazy beagle came 6 years later, when I was 10 years old, from the same Humane Society as Leo. My mother had a beagle when she was a little girl named Alexander the Great, or Alex for short which is also where JAG gets his name. JAG is an acronym for Junior Alexander the Great (because naming him Alex Jr. just didn't seem right). The first night we got him, he was 6 weeks old and a little ball of energy. He finally fell asleep and when I tried to pick him up to put him in his crate in my room for the night he writhed, wriggled and growled, making for a comical experience that will stick in my mind forever. Leo and JAG were the best of friends until Leo's passing in 2011. JAG is getting older and lives in Florida with my mother, but he's still got the energy and spirit of a puppy. JAG and Leo were and are my best friends, we grew up together and I miss them both immensely Meet my pets None My experience administering medication I am comfortable with administering medicine. JAG, my crazy beagle is the worst at taking any type of medication. So I learned all the tricks of the trade to get medication down in pill, liquid or shot form.
