Pet care experience
Hi! My name is Britt and I am excited to get to know your pet! I am a speech-pathologist working in the schools and have some free time on my hands during summer break. I live in Arvada, am a first time home owner and have been loving all the projects that come along with it! I am hoping to spend this summer exploring more of Colorado, begin planning my wedding and learn more about gardening! I have been around pets and lived with pets all my life- dogs, cats, and by default the childhood hamster. I currently live with my two cats (Hobie and Hobbs) and find every excuse to go on hikes and picnics with friends who will bring their furry friends. I am kind, well-educated and use discretion, especially when it involves others and their property- like your pup or cat.

Britt did an excellent dog taking care of our two dogs. They're a bit of a handful so we were very impressed by how well she handled them. Hope Britt stays doing this for a while - would definitely book her again.
Britt has cared for my animals (2 cats + 1 Great Dane) when I go out of town. She loves them as if they are her own! My favorite part of the day when Britt is at the house is she always send picture updates! My animals love her right back and even my skittish cat will come out for her. Highly recommend her, she's reliable, responsible and loving!
My dog Hemi loves Britt! She is responsible and timely and can handle him even when he’s pulling on the trails. Its clear that she loves animals. I would definitely ask her to watch my dog again.

Unfortunately I am not hosting pets in my home however, all Rover services I have provided have been at my client's homes. I make sure to be timely in my visits, spend time engaging with and being active with your pet, as well as triple checking the door is always locked as I leave!

No breed preferences- I would like to know a dogs temperament (how they are around other dogs, what they do if they see another dog), if any reward system is used with the dog and when, how the dog likes to be walked and talked to.
A typical day
I live in Arvada and right next to a lake. I walk this lake almost daily! I am also a runner and depending on your dog's needs, a running partner is always welcomed.

I am enjoying summer break just as the kids are- work free! I have high availability during the week and most weekends. I try and keep my calendar as updated as possible.
