Pet care experience
I have taken care of dogs my whole life. My father had a kennel. He had Colby pits, and if you know anything about Colby's, you know, the Master better be in control. I have experience with kitties as well. I have several kitties, I am trying to find good homes for now. I have nursed two of them back from the brink of death. I am willing and able to feed, bathe, and love your fur baby today. I am a certified EMT as well; as such, I have been able to use my knowledge as a medic to save and nurse many of God's creature's back to health. My schedule is completely open. Night or day,Brit's here to love your pup and play. Weekend's and Holidays are no problem. Give me a call now 😃. As my doggy daycare exspans, I am not anticipating the time availability, I have now. Come be the first, to get seniority at Brit's Doggy daycare. I have a acre of land, that is completely fenced in; and a 3 bedroom home. So lot's of room is no problem here. I live about a mile from Walmart, across from the Post office, so I am easy to locate. I have pet service via Rover, and an active veterinarian through Chewy. My home is set up in such away, that separating animals is possible,without caging. I also have a separate building out side, so a pet could have access to the out doors, and be isolated from other animals, if isolation was needed to health or behavior issues. Britney is a nice person and my pets are alive but I absolutely would not recommend you using her as a sitter. With all due respect she is not responsive at all (you’ll be waiting 8 hours) and she just has a lot of personal issues going on at this point. It’s life! I get that but my dog and cat are super chill dudes! they’re old, mild mannered, potty trained, and just want to sit next to you all day. So caring for them and giving me updates on them shouldn’t have been such a difficult task. In addition to waiting for a long time for a response, she didn’t follow my instructions and fed my 12 year old dog human food causing him to have explosive diarrhea at her home. I obviously became worried but I respected her hours communication (after 2pm). I became really worried about my animals safety however when at approximately 7:40am one morning she sent me a link to a youtube video about the devil, the end of days, and 666 mark of the beast saying, “i implore you to watch to the end.” You read that right people. i kid you not. I mean i just wanted updates and pictures of how my dogs tummy was doing, but you have time to send me this? WHAT?!? Now I’m worried about where her head is at and the safety of my animals. I got so worried from that video and being left in the dark in general that I had one of my girlfriends pick them up EARLY. Again I hate to leave a negative review but i feel like she just didn’t care that she had my *BABIES* and that id like to get regular updates on them especially if they’re randomly feeling sick! Britney is a really nice person and i do wish her inner peace and wellness, but good god, don’t be allured by the low prices; she’s just all over the place. Maybe that will change and she’ll be in a position to do business in the future. I hope so and sincerely wish her the best. I just felt obligated to give an honest opinion of my experience with her that’s all.
She was very nice but my dog will never go there again. The stay started out very well. I took my dog over there so she can see his personality. And we agreed on the stay. She gave me an update everyday while he was there. But the problem started when I got him back. Once he was home I noticed about 8 scares on him. So I contacted her about it. And that is when she told me he was attacked by another dog. So now my dog is scared up really bad. The next day I noticed bumps and scabs all over his neck. Not sure what it is but his skin looks terrible on his neck. Not sure what that is. Maybe scars from the attack, fleas from the house, or something else. But he has never had that before. Also he is usually a very happy and energetic dog. Ever since I got him back 3 days ago he has bee just laying around. He is almost like lifeless. Not sure if he is sick or what it is. So now I have to take him to the vet to get checked out and to get his sick checked out. Again she seems like a good person. But my dog will never go there again.
Very good with Meryl. Meryl was wagging her butt (no tail 😢) when we returned for sitting the next week. Britney had a legitimate medical emergency come up. While canceling would’ve been completely understandable, she coordinated with her family to ensure that Merrill had a sitter for the day. If you are visiting family in the correctional systems e.g. Gadsen or Quincy Correctional facilities, this is a great option.
It has been a poor experience. She let the dogs escape and run around (mind you she lives on a 4 lane road where they easily could have gotten hit by a car). Then when I come to pick them up she's lost a leash and Gentle Leader. She said she found it after we left, but I offered to pay for shipping and still haven't received it or heard back from her after she initially said she would send it. It has been 2 weeks now.

Days that are to hot or to cold for outside activities; We have toys, doggy tv, and of course, belly rubs and playing on the floor, to enjoy. Your pup will be loved and care for at Brit's Doggy Daycare.
