My entire life revolves around the caring for and loving of animals! I recently graduated university with a bachelors degree in Biology and minor in Animal Science. I hope to advance into veterinary school in the next couple of years and I work towards this goal everyday. I work at a pet hospital as a veterinary assistant and absolutely adore my job. Every single part of my day revolves around pets and I couldn't be happier. I have been pet sitting off and on for the past 4 years but have worked with animals since long before. From the ages of 12-18 I volunteered intermittently at various humane societies where I was able to see pets find forever homes and I got to learn the basics of animal care. At age 19 I got a job at PetSmart where I worked for 4 years in different positions all around the store. I worked as a pet care associate, pet care manager, merchandise manager, and I also worked briefly as a bather in the salon. After this, I moved to Alaska for a year where I got my first job as a receptionist at a VCA Animal Hospital and I FELL IN LOVE. After moving back to Texas, I got a job at Banfield Pet Hospital and have remained there for the past 3 years. This experience cemented my love for the medical treatment of animals and I knew I absolutely had to do this every day for the rest of my life. Throughout the years, I have worked through Rover multiples times doing all different pet care services. Working with animals makes me so happy and I can't wait to care for your fur babies!
