I am a former veterinary technician that truly loves all dogs. The only person who loves dogs more than I is my husband, who I swear would have 20 if I’d let him. We have two older children (7 and 11) that are amazing with dogs, as my son loves to romp when a dog is willing, and my daughter is the nurturer. We currently have a young labradoodle that has lots of energy and loves all animals, a cat that will snuggle any dog (that will let her), and a cat that’s pretty much indifferent to life itself and all that’s included. We are an active family that owns a fishing charter business in Puget Sound. During the winter months business is slower, allowing one of us to be home every day we mark as “available” in our calendar. We do not have a fenced yard, however we live within a mile of the hikes near Klahowya and love on-leash hikes daily in the evenings. We live in a 3000sf home that has plenty of space to play and romp. It is a “lived in” home that is full of fun, laughs, and silliness. We allow our dogs the run of the house except the kids bedrooms. This is not due to our preferences, but rather the fact that our doodle will steal socks, Legos, and Kleenex from any bedroom door that’s open and destroy them. Your dog will find constant entertainment in our day to day life, and hopefully be mentally and physically stimulated the entire time with us.
