Patient and Friendly Host! :)

Pet care experience

I'm Brit, a young-professional living in a nice apartment in downtown Bethesda - less than a block from a fully-enclosed, pet-friendly field (Bethesda Elementary). I have grown up with dogs in the household my entire life: a Yellow-Lab who was overly-energetic all the time, an unfriendly Chow - unless you had string cheese , two Golden Retrievers with too much personality and a Brittany Spaniel who tried to run away chasing birds at least 1-2 times a week....so I'm comfortable with all temperaments. I currently have a 4 year-old Golden Retriever named Bella. She is is very easy going and gets along with pets of all types - she also loves attention, playing fetch and cuddling. As much as I love pets, she is probably equally as excited to have a friend to play with (probably the main reason I do this)! My current schedule with her is a walk before work, fetch after work and another longer walk before bed. I tend to work from 9ish-5ish (in Bethesda) but have flexibility to work remotely and/or go in late, come home early depending on your needs. Please feel free to reach out to me with any questions!

Brit and Bella were great with Tucker! Brit was flexible with the pick up and drop off time to accommodate my schedule. Tucker always has a great time with dogs his size and energy level, and returned home clearly well taken care of. His location is perfect for anyone around Bethesda and I would highly recommend. Tucker is looking forward to staying with him again!

Billie seemed to really enjoy spending time with Britt and Bella. Britt is a fine, responsible young man. We will utilize his service again.

Brit took excellent care of my dog Samson while I was away. He sent photos and updates which helped me feel completely secure while I was gone. Samson has a new best friend with Brits beautiful dog Bella. I can't say enough good things. So glad I found Brit and Bella on Rover!

Brit is a fantastic person who is wonderful & easy going with our dogs & he is such a hard worker. He went above & beyond to take care of our dogs & our home. He is kind, caring, respectful, trustworthy & responsible. Cody & Bailey had a wonderful time under his care & I know they miss Brit & his dog, Bella, already. We had peace of mind & no worries at all about the dogs & our home while we were gone on vacation. Thank you Brit!!

Information Brit W. would like to know about your pet

House Sitting - not entirely a deal breaker, but bringing Bella along is ideal so that I do not in turn have to find her a sitter, lol. Dog Boarding - I do live in an apartment complex with neighbors (all of which love dogs) but please let me know if they have "vocal" separation anxieties, etc. General - No breed preferences - Bella is very friendly but if your pet has aggressive tendencies, please let me know! I'm also always up for a meet-and-greet if that is needed.

A typical day

I live a block away from a fully enclosed school a block away if off-leash is permitted. The school field is massive and doubles as a dog park. If your dog plays well with others we can go at the busy times or plan for a time when it is empty. I'm also just a short jaunt to the Capital Crescent Trail which is great for a long walk/run.
